PR INSIGHTS: THE UK POLITICAL LANDSCAPE
Upcoming courses – Wed 21 Mar
This course provides an overview of the UK political landscape. It introduces the three main institutions of power under the British constitution – the legislature, executive and judiciary – and explains how they are appointed, how they work, and what they do on a day-to-day basis. It considers who the key decision makers and influencers are across the British political system, and how the lobbying community and media fit in. There is also a review of the rules and etiquette of lobbying, and a brief introduction to the implications of devolved power in the UK and the European Union. For a full course outline click here.
