Chris Cooke is a writer, broadcaster, publisher, communicator, trainer and entrepreneur. He co-founded his first publication, ThreeWeeks at the Edinburgh Festival, while a student in the Scottish capital in 1996. Two years later, having relocated to London, he co-founded music business network CMU, and two years after that the UnLimited Creative media services agency. In 2002 he and Caro Moses brought these and other business ventures together to form the UnLimited Media Group, which Chris continues to lead today.

As a journalist, Chris writes about the media, music and communication businesses on a daily basis, and as such is a leading expert on these sectors, often commenting on them for other media, especially the BBC. Through UnLimited Media, he has also worked directly on numerous projects within these industries himself, as well as developing and delivering acclaimed training courses on media, music and communication topics.

As well as running the various UnLimited Media businesses day to day, Chris is also Business Editor of CMU and Co-Editor of ThreeWeeks, writes for PR-focused website esPResso, and co-presents the weekly CMU podcast. He also programmes the convention side of The Great Escape, and helps manage the development of the Taylor Bennett Foundation programme to encourage more diversity in PR. He has a degree in English from Edinburgh University and Law from London Metropolitan University.
